I have lived the challenges of business ownership.

I spent over 15 years building a debt consulting business from nothing. No investors, no head start — just the slow work of finding customers, earning trust and learning how to run things properly. Over that time the company grew to approximately $600,000 in annual turnover.

Along the way I dealt with the same things most owners deal with: building a customer base, creating revenue I could rely on, managing cash flow when timing was tight, working out where the profit actually came from, and making difficult decisions without anyone to check my thinking against.

I learned that the business only stopped depending on me once there were real systems behind it, and that the hardest part of ownership is holding the day-to-day and the long-term in your head at the same time.

I now use that experience to help other owners across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Some are just starting and want to build properly from the beginning. Others have been going for years and want an experienced, independent person to think out loud with. I am not a coach with a framework to sell — I am someone who has been in the chair you are sitting in.
